It’s in our nature to occasionally fall into routines that don’t support us fully, either by consuming foods that irritate our systems or that fatigue rather than fuel us. A raw organic juice cleanse allows our entire digestive system to rest and recuperate, giving us time to reset our daily patterns and habits.
One bottle of cold-pressed juice contains approximately 3 pounds or 10 servings of fresh organic produce. The live enzymes and many nutrients in each bottle enter the blood stream rapidly and are assimilated throughout the body in minutes. This rapid absorption is what makes juice a powerful blood detoxifier, boosting immunity and resulting in a rebound of energy, lightness, and mental clarity.
Fresh cold-pressed juice cleanses are about taking it one day at a time, and building your confidence as you go. As you complete each 24-hour cycle of cleansing, committing to another day will also depend on the demands of your daily life. Small, short cleanses are within everyone’s reach.
Our cleanses are designed to nourish and support, not to deprive or stress your body. You will emerge lighter, cleaner and more focused than ever on feeling your personal best.
Keep in mind, if you are going to cleanse for more than one day (anywhere from one to five days is standard) you can choose a different one-day cleanse for each day of your multi-day cleanse.

Can anyone participate?
We must firstly emphasize that we are not doctors. We do not offer medical advice of any kind, nor do we offer medically supervised cleanses. We recommend against it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18 years of age or if you have any serious medical condition that may influence your ability to participate. Please consult your doctor before beginning. Beyond that, the decision to cleanse or not to cleanse is a personal one. Listen to your body, and do what feels right for you.
How often and for how long can I cleanse?
This is different for everyone. Some people feel that a multiple-day cleanse each month, or even a single-day cleanse each week, helps them feel their best. Others find cleansing 2-4 times a year to coincide with changing seasons is most beneficial for them. The length of the cleanse is also up to you: you can follow it for a single day, or for as many days as you wish. We recommend one to three days for a first cleanse.
What should I do before I begin the cleanse?
Transitioning to a healthy, alkaline, whole-foods plant-based diet will help make your cleanse easier and the results more transformative. Drink plenty of water, introducing green juices and more raw fruits, vegetables, brown rice, quinoa, avocado, flax oil and legumes into your daily routine.
Phase out processed foods including caffeine, alcohol, processed grains, sugar, fried foods, dairy and other animal products (meat and eggs).
You will probably need to adjust your lifestyle during the course of your cleanse, especially for the first couple of days. Juice cleansing is a challenging but rewarding experience, and it is important to remember that our bodies do the most healing when at rest.
Don't skip juices. Remember to drink a juice every two hours or so. If you skip a juice, hunger might set in and steer you off course.
Can I have caffeine during the cleanse?
Technically no- to get the best results, switch to herbal teas and drink plenty of water. If you are a coffee addict, we recommend switching to green tea and gradually weaning off caffeine prior to your program.
However, if not being able to have your morning coffee will dissuade you from trying a cleanse, remember that it’s better to do a cleanse to the best of your abilities than to not do it at all!
What else should I avoid?
Don't drink soda, alcoholic beverages or sports drinks. These will actually dehydrate you. Cigarettes and OTC medications should also be avoided as they will add more burden to your detoxification systems. If you are taking prescription medications, please consult your doctor prior to beginning a program.
Can I exercise during the cleanse?
Absolutely! Moving and sweating will help your body detoxify more effectively. You may experience low energy, but this is normal. Instead of high intensity exercise opt for lower intensity activities like stretching and walking. Yoga is especially effective as it helps to eliminate toxins and enhance the mind body connection.
How will I feel during the cleanse?
Feeling a little tired and hungry is normal for the first day. These are typical symptoms of your body’s reaction to starting the cleansing process. Your body will adjust to these changes over the next couple of days. Don't skip juices, and remember to drink a juice every two hours or so. If you skip a juice, hunger will set in.
To ease the discomfort of hunger, we recommend increasing the amount of water you are drinking, sipping herbal tea, or adding an additional juice or nut milk to your cleanse.
You may experience detoxification symptoms including nausea, sore muscles, irritability and/or headaches during your cleanse. The best things for you at this time are hot showers, epsom salt baths, steams and body scrubs.
Post-cleanse benefits include increased energy, mental clarity and clear skin. You will begin to feel stronger. You may find yourself having heightened senses, and a connection with your mind, body, and spirit.
What can I do to ease side effects?
- Drink herbal teas. Dandelion, ginger and mint tea are all good choices.
- Drink lots of water.
- Detoxification Bath: Soak with 1-2 cups of Epsom salt or sea salts.
- Arnica oil for muscle aches and pains.
- Sauna: 30 minutes will stimulate sweating, encouraging detoxification through the skin- one of your body’s most important detoxification systems!
- Dry brushing: using a natural bristled brush, this helps to stimulate lymphatic flow and opens up your pores for more effective detox.
- Tongue scraping: to remove toxin build up on the tongue.
- Take time to relax and reflect - try to minimize your stress.
- Breathe deeply. Invite in new, clean air; expel toxins and ease anxiety.

What do I do after my cleanse?
Keeping plant-based foods as a greater part of your diet post-cleanse is an opportunity to establish lasting positive habits.
Your first few meals should be small and easy to digest. Transition out of your cleanse for the next three days the same way you transitioned into it. This means maintaining a healthy alkaline whole-foods plant based diet, and prioritizing water-plump fresh fruits, smoothies, light salads, vegetable soups, green juices, whole grains, legumes and nuts. Avoid processed foods including caffeine, alcohol, processed grains, sugar, fried foods, dairy and other animal products (meat and eggs). Remember to chew all your food well, eat slowly and gradually reintroduce cooked and heavier foods.
